The course at Pine Hills Country Club is known for its undulating fast greens and tree lined rolling hills cut by glaciers leaving a beautiful landscape. The par 71 features a 6,481 yard layout.
The well manicured and pristine grounds feature the Pigeon River running throughout the course leaving a challenging layout and countless beautiful views.
Below is a link to some publicity that Pine Hills received from a commentator on golf architecture. Andy Johnson runs “The Fried Egg” website and tends to highlight 'Golden Age Architecture' in most of his writing. He’s credited with creating most of the social media buzz that surrounds courses like Lawsonia Links and Sweetens Cove. Rod Johnson, then Pine Hills Course Superintendent, and Keith Robel, then Pine Hills Board President, had the opportunity to walk Andy around Pine Hills in October 2019. He was so impressed with the course that he ended up writing the attached article.
